Considering Canine Behaviour (CCB) is an education-based company focused on building and mending co-operative bonds between people and their companions.

With over 8 years in the industry, CCB has the experience and education to identify and address the root cause of behaviour. Personalized training plans are provided to effectively and ethically modify behaviour, while keeping client and dog welfare at the forefront. These detailed plans include access to resources, directions on implementing decompression and enrichment, safety and management techniques, teaching alternative behaviours, and continued communication throughout the learning process.

CCB is committed to continuing education to stay up to date on the latest science of canine behaviour to provide the highest quality care to our clients.

Kyla Guercio - KPA-CTP, FFCT, FDM

Kyla, a dedicated dog trainer with a deep love for animals, began her journey in 2015 working in Toronto dog daycares, immersing herself in canine behavior. She established her own successful dog walking business after earning her training designation from the Karen Pryor Academy. She had the incredible opportunity to travel across Canada on a 5 week tour with a Canadian musician as her personal assistant, dog sitter, and merchandise girl, demonstrating her flexibility and professionalism working with all types of clients. With a commitment to positive animal impact, she spent three years as a certified trainer at the Toronto Humane Society. Kyla's expertise includes writing training plans, aiding in vet clinics to create a safe and calmer environment for fearful/anxious dogs, and advising staff and adopters on management and training. She pursued advanced training, completing courses on aggression, fear-free methods, and applied ethology. Kyla aims to foster strong human-animal bonds through her experience and considerate approach.
